Elena Araoz, a Senior Lecturer in Theater and Producing Artistic Director of the Theater and Music Theater Season, served as Artistic Consultant on Princeton Class of 1965 alum and former Senator Bill Bradley’s film, Rolling Along, after serving in a dramaturgical role on the staged production. Araoz assisted Bradley on the creation of his one-man, autobiographical theater show on which the film is based, and she facilitated opportunities for two Lewis Center theater classes to serve as test audiences for the piece before its NYC premiere in December 2021. Rolling Along, directed by Mike Tollin and executive produced by Spike Lee and Frank Oz, is a live theatrical recording of Bradley’s performances interspersed with archival footage documenting his careers in professional basketball and politics. The film premiered at the Tribeca Festival on June 16 and will remain available for streaming until July 2.
