Students Share Scripts from “Creating Comedy for Television” Atelier Course

On December 7, 2023, Princeton students from the fall Princeton Atelier course, “Baby Wants Candy: Creating Comedy for Television,” presented their short original scripts with the help of guest actors at a table read for the University community. The course—led by critically acclaimed comedy writer Al Samuels along with comedians Maysoon Zayid (You Don’t Mess with the Zohan) and Michael Koman (Saturday Night Live)—explores the creation of a television comedy from show pitch to pilot episode.
