About

Edo Tastic is the author of Effects and He Was Here (2017), two self-published collections on his website and Amazon. His poetic works have found unique platforms; in 2017 and 2018, Bloomingdale’s commissioned him to create twenty-six original poems, which were permanently installed on tiles at their flagship East 59th Street store.

Edo’s mission is to make poetry accessible to broader audiences. He has self-produced three lyric videos (Childhood Nuances, Star, and Sayin’ Things) and, in 2020, his first independent poetic film, Abducted: A Living Poet (pending release). His live poetry readings are immersive, multidisciplinary events that blend setlists with collaborations across creative mediums. These performances have evolved from intimate apartment gatherings to celebrated venues such as Smush Gallery in Jersey City, Ma’s House in Southampton, and The Living Gallery in Brooklyn. Edo has also performed featured sets with New Voices and The Inspired Word and has been welcomed at literary spaces like Brooklyn's Café con Libros and Bluestockings in the Lower East Side.

As the creative director for Kyle Marshall Choreography, Edo curates the visual elements of its performances, further extending his artistic vision. He plans to release additional volumes in The Burp Series, Conversations, and Chasing in 2025.

Edo Tastic now joins the Princeton Atelier as a visiting artist, where he will continue to inspire others through his unique blend of poetry, visual art, and storytelling.
