Jim Lee '86 is a legendary Korean-American comic book artist, writer, and publisher, celebrated for his dynamic art and transformative impact on the comic book industry. He is best known for co-creating fan-favorite characters like Gambit for Marvel Comics, WildCATS for Image Comics and delivering iconic stories such as Batman: Hush for DC. As a co-founder of Image Comics and creator of WildStorm Productions, Lee played a pivotal role in expanding creator rights for writers and artists in the early 1990’s. Currently serving as DC Comics’ President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer, he continues to influence the future of storytelling. In 2023, Lee was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame, a prestigious honor cementing his legacy as one of the most influential figures in the history of modern comics.
