Kathy Fox Franklin '90 S90 P23 is a Co-Founder of Key and Kite LLC, providing consulting and advisory services to clients in the entertainment space. She was previously the founding CEO of Hidden Pigeon Company, a multiplatform kids and family content company that leverages the intellectual property of award-winning children’s author, illustrator, playwright and artist Mo Willems.

Prior to Hidden Pigeon Company, Franklin served as President of Franchise Development at James Cameron and Jon Landau’s Lightstorm Entertainment, where she oversaw global brand strategy and management for Avatar and Avatar: The Way of Water, partnering with The Walt Disney Company to expand the reach and impact of both properties across all categories and platforms. Prior to Lightstorm, Franklin was the Vice President of Global Franchise Development for Disney Consumer Products, leading brand management of the Disney Princess, Disney Fairies, Cars and Toy Story franchises. She earlier served as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Disney’s corporate citizenship division and was responsible for Disney’s domestic and international relationships with its signature children’s charities. Before coming to Disney in 1998, Kathy held a diverse range of positions in finance, education and design.

Franklin holds degrees from Princeton University and Teachers College, Columbia University. She is an independent Director of NASDAQ-listed sporting-goods company Escalade, Inc. and serves on the national Board of Directors of literacy non-profit First Book.
