Morgan Jerkins is the author of This Will Be My Undoing, a New York Times bestseller, as well as the critically acclaimed books, Wandering in Strange Lands and Caul Baby. Jerkins is a Forbes "30 under 30" alumna in Media and the winner of two National Magazine Awards for her work as an outstanding journalist under 30 and for a Single Topic Issue for New York Magazine’s Trayvon Martin issue. She has held editorial positions at Medium, ESPN, and New York Magazine, among others, and has written for The New York Times, The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, ELLE, Vogue, and The Atlantic, among many others.

Prior to Princeton, Jerkins has taught at Columbia University, The New School, Pacific University, Bennington College, and Leipzig University, where she was the Guest Picador Professor.

She holds a Bachelor’s in Comparative Literature with an emphasis on late nineteenth century Russian literature and post World War II Japanese literature from Princeton University and an MFA in Writing and Literature from Bennington College.
