R. Réal Vargas Alanis (They | 2S | Purépecha | Tlahualil) is a world-renowned, indigiqueer artist from the barrio of Winton, California (Yokut). Réal serves as the Artistic Director of the arts and advocacy organization In the Margin, leading an ensemble of intersectional and interdisciplinary QT,BIPOC artists. Artistically, Réal is known as a Director, Actor, Playwright, Producer, and Casting Director. They specialize in New Work Development and is named among “the best latinx comedic talent in the country” by the Latinx Theatre Commons. Réal is also known as an Educator, Community Organizer, Curandera, Minister, and Co-Owner of Sexii Tacos “Where the tacos are Sexii and so are you!”.
