Sandra Youkhana

About
Sandra Youkhana is a Lecturer at the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London (UCL) and is a registered Architect. She is co-founder of You+Pea, a design research studio working between architecture and videogames. Sandra co-leads the Videogame Urbanism studio at UCL, examining how games can help shape the future of urban design. Sandra has consulted for game developers, technology companies, and city planners, and she is currently undertaking a funded PhD at UCL. Her research investigates how the real world is extracted, altered, and applied to the design of virtual environments. Sandra is the co-author of Videogame Atlas: Mapping Interactive Worlds (Thames & Hudson, 2022).
