Yelena Akhtiorskaya is the author of Panic in a Suitcase. The novel was named a Notable Book of 2014 by the New York Times and was a National Book Foundation "5 under 35" honoree. Her work has appeared in N+1, The American Reader, Triple Canopy, and elsewhere. She lives in Riverside Park with her friends.
