Zach Zimmerman is a sweet, queer Southern boy with a ribald sense of humor. A 2019 TimeOut NY Comic to Watch, Zach’s first comedy album “Clean Comedy,” debuted at #1 on the iTunes Comedy charts the Billboard Top 10. His Edinburgh Fringe debut of the same name gained critical praise and was listed as a show to see in the New York Comedy Festival by the The New York Times.

He’s been profiled in New York Magazine, Vulture, and Splitsider for his unique, provocative, vulnerable comedy, and published humor pieces in The New Yorker and McSweeney’s Internet Tendency. He’s a Moth StorySLAM Champion, creator/host of 100 People in a Room presented at ARS NOVA, and once opened for the drag queen Alyssa Edwards.

He performs regularly at Union Hall, littlefield, Stand Up NY, and Caroline’s on Broadway.

Prior to relocating to Brooklyn, Zach trained and performed in Chicago with The Second City Theatricals.

He is a proud first-generation Princeton University graduate, and an out queer vegetarian atheist.
