The Program in Theater presents a senior thesis production ofMake Belief, written by Mara Nelson-Greenberg ’11 and directed by Suzanne Agins on April 21 and 23; and April 26 and 28, 2011. Make Belief is one of two original works by seniors in The New Play Festival – Due Unto Others.
In Make Belief, Claire and her husband Roger want to achieve a sense of closure after Claire’s sister dies of hypochondria. Informed by their own memories and inspired to linguistic flights of fancy, they attempt to perform an ambitious play with the help of a mail-order actress in this new comedy by senior Mara Nelson-Greenberg.
All performances will be held at 8:00 PM in the Marie and Edward Matthews ’53 Acting Studio, Lewis Center for the Arts at 185 Nassau Street. Tickets are $10 for students & seniors, $12 general admission (Tiger Ticket event).
