Monster Mash is an exhibition of both painterly and sculptural works by senior Caroline Weaver ’25, a neuroscience major and visual arts minor. Weaver’s work explores the digital aesthetics of dress-up, nostalgic media, and horror’s fixation on the female body. Weaver shares that she “blends whimsy with unease, using playful and nostalgic visuals to analyze the tension between self-stylization and external gaze, with an emphasis on how femininity is constructed and performed across virtual, media, and real-life representations.”
