Frontier Spirit: Paul R. Williams in California and Nevada—Photographs by Janna Ireland

From 2016 to 2022, award-winning photographer Janna Ireland captured the built works of Paul Revere Williams (1894–1980), the first Black architect licensed in the western region of the United States and the first Black member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). This exhibition pulls from Ireland’s two photographic projects on Williams’ designs. Located at SOA North Gallery; gallery hours: Weekdays 7 AM-8:30 PM; Saturdays 10 AM-8:30 PM; Sundays 1-8:30 PM. Reception on Feb. 6 at 6 PM. Exhibition access services include captions, guides & pamphlets.

Who Turns Out the Light: Caroline Shaw and Sō Percussion featuring Ringdown

On the toes of their Grammy nomination, Sō Percussion (including past Princeton Arts Fellow Jason Treuting) returns to Richardson Auditorium for their winter concert. Music from Caroline Shaw and Sō Percussion’s Grammy-nominated album Rectangles and Circumstance, as well as their first album Let the Soil Play Its Simple Part. No tickets required.
