Want to perform in Princeton Dance Festival (PDF) held November 21-23, 2025?
You can participate through a course…
Students of all class years who are interested in performing in PDF through the course DAN 326 — Princeton Dance Festival: Approaches to Performance and Choreography must attend Placement Class. The works to be performed in the Festival that are part of DAN 326 include :
- a contemporary work by former Princeton Arts Fellow and Guggenheim Fellow Netta Yerushalmy
- an iconic repertory work by the legendary Mark Morris staged by faculty member Tina Fehlandt
- a work by sought-after contemporary dancer and choreographer Christopher Ralph
Placement class is not an audition, however it is mandatory for interested dance students.
Or participate outside of a course…
Plan to attend Guest Choreographer Auditions on Sept. 6 + 9 if you want to perform in PDF but can’t take DAN 326. The works to be performed in the Festival by professional guest choreographers include:
- a contemporary ballet work by Guggenheim Fellow Pam Tanowitz
- a work by Omari Wiles, who merges West African dance styles with vogue and ballroom
- a contemporary work by MacArthur Fellow Kyle Abraham, staged by Stephanie Terasaki
You may audition for all three guest choreographer opportunities but would only be cast in one.
