Auditions 101 with the Princeton University Players

Come join PUP, Princeton’s only entirely student-run musical theatre group, for an introduction to auditioning for musical theatre productions at Princeton! Learn how the auditioning process works here, what to prepare, how to interact with the director or accompanist, and much more. Rebecca Schnell ’18, the director of PUP’s fall show The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, will also be there to give you some tips and to answer any of your questions about her show. This workshop should be particularly helpful for freshmen interested in getting involved in theatre on campus, but it is also open to anyone else looking for new advice on how to improve their auditioning technique.
