The 2nd annual Princeton French Film Festival includes 11 movies by emerging and award-winning filmmakers, 4 Q&A sessions, 2 masterclasses, and a book discussion. All films will be screened in accessible venues on Princeton University’s campus, at Princeton Public Library, or at Princeton Garden Theatre in their original languages (English subtitles). Nothing Sacred Here is an exhibition of recent work by Princeton senior Lana Glisic, a computer science major pursuing a certificate in visual arts. Drawing together technological, religious, and scientific imagery, this show reflects on the concept of worship in a quotidian, non-religious, and interpersonal context. Moʻo is an exhibition of new work by Practice of Art senior Kapili Naehu-Ramos. Moʻo is composed of strips or fragments of Hawaiian stories and genealogies in a show featuring weaving and poetry, as well as dyed, printed, and painted fabrics. It is in reverence of the feminine.
