In the second conversation under a new partnership with Ireland’s Abbey Theatre, Ruth McGowan, Abbey's literary and new work director, and Derbhle Crotty, well-known Irish actor and associate artist, will be in conversation around writing and performing in Ireland. Theater Performance & Audition Co-curricular Classes with Sam Gravitte ’17

The Program in Theater & Music Theater welcomes back alum Sam Gravitte ’17 (Wicked on Broadway) to offer a combination of bespoke coaching and class-format lectures. Classes will include workshops on Acting Through Song, On Camera Audition techniques, and a special day of Wicked original Broadway choreography. Open to Princeton students. Drop-in classes; no registration needed.

Try and thrive in a post-apocalyptic world, navigating the complex politics of an authoritarian commune and a libertarian revolution. See how your morals hold-up in times of scarcity while moving through ethical scenarios that make the “trolly problem” look like child’s play. Free tickets required.

Foibles and Fables: Songs of Magic and Memory, A Princeton Playhouse Ensembles Concert

This musical celebration unites music theater storytelling, performance, composition, arranging, direction, and choreography while featuring the work and leadership of current Princeton students and alumni. The Playhouse Ensembles will be joined by Broadway performer and two-time Grammy-nominated songwriter Becca Stevens, two-time Grammy-winning violist and composer Nathan Schram, and others. You'll hear selections from Hadestown, Pippin, Shuffle Along, Sondheim's Evening Primrose, and more alongside world premieres by guest artists and students. Tickets required.
