Legacy of Light by Karen Zacarías

In present-day Princeton, an astrophysicist is discovering new planets while dreaming of starting a family. In 18th century Paris, Émilie du Châtelet, a brilliant physicist whose genius inspired the work of Voltaire and influenced Einstein and his Theory of Relativity, is running out of time before her baby arrives. Across the ages, but under the same star-filled sky, their stories intertwine in this bright and funny play about life, the universe, and the legacy we leave behind. Lighting co-designed by theater program director Jane Cox and lecturer Tess James. Show opens 3/23 at 2 PM; Pride Night is 3/28; Post-show Discussions on 3/30 + 4/5 (ASL interpretation); 4/6 is open caption and audio-described performance. Tickets start at $25, available through McCarter Box Office.

Fund for Irish Studies: Lecture on “Unmasking Conspiracy: Philip Graves and The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” by Fintan O’Toole

Scholar, critic and writer Fintan O'Toole gives the annual Robert Fagles Memorial Lecture, contending that the most toxic forger of all time may be The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, which falsely purports to be the record of secret meetings of Jewish leaders plotting to take over the world. It was used as the basis for the most violent antisemitic propaganda of the 20th century and continues to circulate today. Free tickets required.
