This symposium on art and inquiry convenes a group of twelve artists, theorists, and “hybrid practitioners” to reflect on the current state of artistic research in the U.S. and elsewhere, and to investigate the ways that artist-researchers and researcher-artists are navigating the shifting spaces of knowledge production (and the adjacent domains of creative expression). The symposium is open by advance registration.
Mel Chin will deliver a keynote address, open to the public, on April 5 at 5:30 p.m.
