Want to live and study in the cosmopolitan city of Athens and explore Greece in class and afield?
Learn more about the new Princeton in Greece semester study abroad program launching in spring 2024! Sponsored by the Seeger Center for Hellenic Studies and run in partnership with College Year in Athens (CYA), Princeton in Greece is a great fit for sophomores and juniors studying Classics, Hellenic Studies, Theater, Philosophy, History, Art & Archaeology, Politics, Anthropology, and more! The on-site faculty leader, Michael Cadden, and members of OIP staff and the Seeger Center will be present to answer questions about the program.
Students will take a Princeton seminar, Writing Athens, taught by Professor Michael Cadden from Theater; Modern Greek Language; and two additional courses taught through CYA. Opportunities to take part in lecture courses at the University of Athens, supplemented by discussion sessions led by CYA faculty, are also being developed. The program, which runs from mid-January through mid-May, includes on-site study and field trips, excursions to historical and cultural sites, guest lectures at the Princeton Athens Center, and more exciting ways for students to immerse themselves in Greek culture.
