On May 2 from 4:30-5:30 p.m., the Playhouse Choir welcomes the incredibly talented and versatile Broadway performer Samantha Williams for a guest music theater performance workshop. Select students from the Playhouse Choir will share solo performances and work with Williams on their selections for about 15 minutes each. At the end of the workshop, Williams will perform a song of her own! If time allows, there will also be a brief Q&A.

Samantha Williams has been seen on Broadway as Emmie in the 2021 revival of Caroline, or Change and as Alana in Dear Evan Hansen. You may have also spotted her as Alice in Life After at Chicago’s Goodman Theatre or as Nina in The New York City Center revival of Dear World, starring alongside Donna Murphy. You can see her in Titanic at New York City Center this summer. And you may see her starring as Mabel in the upcoming Broadway revival of Pirates of Penzance in spring 2025.
