The Beat is Sweet stages an imagined encounter between Langston Hughes, the famed Harlem Renaissance poet, and Spanish poet and playwright Federico Garcia Lorca. Created and Directed by Lauren Whitehead ’09.
Performances of The Beat is Sweet are Friday and Saturday January 9 and January 10th at 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 11th at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 for the public and $8 for students. For advance tickets, please call University Ticketing 609.258.9220.
