exceedingly small, and fine (and mostly trivial) is an exhibit of work by Annabel Dupont, a senior in the Program in Visual Arts. In this show, Dupont explores the relationship between the organic process of spider web-weaving with human practices of fiber arts as slow forms of production, historically overlooked and invisibilized. Through sculpture, printmaking, drawing, and photography, this multimedia show captures memory in multiple traces and blurs the boundary between personal scrapbooking and scientific documentation.
