Massacre at the Stadium, a film directed by Princeton University Lecturer in Visual Arts Bent-Jorgen Perlmutt, is nominated for a News & Documentary Emmy Award for Outstanding Historical Documentary. The Netflix Original film examines the 1973 death of Chilean folk singer Victor Jara and how it made him into a symbol and martyr for Chile’s struggle within the Pinochet regime.

Awards will be presented in two individual ceremonies on September 21 and 22, 2020, at 8 p.m. (EDT). Download PDF for a complete list of categories and nominees.
