Massacre at the Stadium, a film directed by Princeton University Lecturer in Visual Arts Bent-Jorgen Perlmutt, is nominated for a News & Documentary Emmy Award for Outstanding Historical Documentary. The Netflix Original film examines the 1973 death of Chilean folk singer Victor Jara and how it made him into a symbol and martyr for Chile’s struggle within the Pinochet regime.

Nominations for the 41st Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards were announced on August 6 by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
