Christopher Ralph was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He began his dance training at Holy Trinity High School, where he was accepted into the theater/dance program lead by Cathy Murphy and James Whore. While training at school, he simultaneously attended classes at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway with teachers including Peter Schabel, Dorrit Koppel, Frank Hatchett and Chio Yamada. In 2005 Christopher attended SUNY Purchase College for his B.F.A in Dance.

Christopher has performed with companies and choreographers such as Aszure Barton and Artists, Sonya Tayeh, Gregory Dolbashian (The DASH Ensemble), Loni Landon, Rebecca Lazier, Janis Brenner ,Patrick Corbin, Doug Varone and the Metropolitan Opera, FKA Twigs, Gatsby: An American Myth, and Life and Trust. He was recently seen dancing in the Hulu series Up Here and in “Saturday Church,” a film that has been well received at the Tribeca Film Festival.

While maintaining his performance career, Christopher has also gained a reputation for teaching a dynamic and high level of contemporary dance which fuses all styles and genres of dance. He has traveled to many countries to share his skills with wonderful and eager students. For the past 3 years, Christopher has taught a regular contemporary class at Peridance Capezio Center. He has also taught his contemporary and improvisational techniques at Princeton University and New York University.
