Are you working on a show or role? Do you want to continue developing your acting chops — fostering playfulness, comfort, spontaneity, and creativity with others? Learn how to work with different styles of directors/ensembles? Get into your body/voice? Bring more specificity to your work? Continue delving into yourself as a performer?
Our Monday afternoon co-curricular classes are drop in workshops, suitable for students who are interested in continuing to develop an acting practice, as well as for students who are acting curious. Students may attend one session, or all eight. We will provide warm ups, games and exercises, text work if desired, and coaching for actors working on any pieces or shows, as well as offering material for those who don’t have specific projects in mind. Classes are designed each Monday around the needs/desires of those who attend. We will cultivate a relaxed and curious atmosphere to explore and develop the craft of acting, and to try new things in a safe space.
