Can love survive when trust is broken? Can hearts mend when past wounds resurface? Broken Tables, Mended Hearts is a powerful stage play that explores the struggles of marriage, family trauma, and the power of forgiveness. Through the journey of Ari and Michael, we witness the deep scars of the past threatening their future—and the transformative power of faith, grace, and commitment in rebuilding love. Guided by Counselor Imani, a faith-based counselor with a story of her own, the couple must confront their pain, embrace vulnerability, and choose whether to fight for their marriage or walk away.
This play is a collaboration between the Black Theatre Collective at Princeton and the 3ANGLES Initiative to raise mental health awareness.
Content Advisory: The play contains scenes portraying domestic violence and abuse.
